Delete Your Account

You can delete your TRUE BLACK account and the personal data associated with it at any time. Choose the option that works best for you.

Option 1 — Delete from inside the app (fastest)

Open the TRUE BLACK app and sign in.
Tap the Profile tab at the bottom.
Tap Settings.
Tap Delete Account.
Confirm by entering the OTP sent to your registered mobile number.

Your account is queued for deletion immediately and removed within 30 days.

Option 2 — Request deletion by email

If you cannot access the app, write to us from the email or with the phone number registered to your account:

Subject: Delete my TRUE BLACK account

Body (please include):

The mobile number registered to your account.
Your full name as it appears on the account.
A short note confirming you are the account holder and request deletion.

We verify the request against the registered mobile number and respond within 7 days. Deletion is completed within 30 days.

What gets deleted

Your profile (name, email, date of birth).
Your phone number is removed from active records.
Saved addresses, store preferences, and notification tokens.
Loyalty / membership punches and Club tier status.
In-app chat history with the AI assistant.

What we are required to keep

Indian tax and accounting law requires us to retain invoice-level order data for 7 financial years. After your account is deleted, this data is anonymised so it can no longer be linked to you personally.

Push notifications and marketing

If you only want to stop hearing from us — without deleting your account — you can:

Disable notifications for TRUE BLACK in your phone's system settings.
Reply STOP to any promotional SMS, or click the unsubscribe link in any marketing email.
